Note: The building stands in the historical centre, in a renaissance setting, with elegant halls inside, where it is possible to admire a cycle of frescos portraying the umbrian manneristic seasons. Mythological themes and noble coats of arms are portrayed, which are attributed to the Zuccari School. Its construction dates back to the 16th century.

Note: The building hosts the Library, the State Archives, the Archaeological Museum where many of the archaeological findings from the Amelia area are kept and a Picture Gallery. In the palace, built between the 13th and 14th centuries, there is a magnificent 16th century cloister which is part of the convent of Saint Francis.

Note: The Castle of Alviano has a quadrangular plant which is livened up by corner turrets. Built in medieval times, it was changed to the renaissance form on the wishes of Bartolomeo di Alviano, a famous mercenary leader. The museum of Capitani di Ventura (Mercenary Leaders) is contained in the castle.
